Exclusive LUX Tennis Star Event with World No. 2 and Wimbledon Champion Carlos Alcaraz at One&Only Palmilla, in Los Cabos Mexico
As part of the extraordinary partnership initiation between LUX Tennis and One&Only Palmilla, LUX Tennis proudly hosted an Exclusive LUX Tennis Star Event featuring the current World No.2 and Wimbledon Champion, Carlos Alcaraz, at One&Only Palmilla.
On December 2nd, from 3 pm to 4 pm, two families occupied two separate courts – one family with two kids and another with two kids and their father. The sessions were private and intimate, with the CEO Joan Soler on one court and Davide, the ATP LUX Tennis Pro, on the other. Carlos Alcaraz moved seamlessly between the two courts, dedicating 30 minutes to each family. The two private sessions included a warm- up routine, forehand-centred drills, featuring Carlos offering his top tips while attendees had the opportunity to pose their most pressing tennis-related questions. The clinic concluded with anecdotes, a Q&A session, autograph signing, and picture taking with the beautiful backdrop of One&Only Palmilla.
The second clinic involved 16 players across two courts, from all around the world, including the UK, Brazil and the US. Alcaraz lead live experience play points, offering advice, and actively engaging on the court, with the help of Joan and Davide on each court.
Concluding the event, a Meet & Greet cocktail took place at One&Only Palmilla, providing an opportunity for both resort management and guests to engage with the star in a more natural and informal setting.
Moreover, Carlos thoroughly enjoyed his week spent with friends at the beautiful resort, observing whales from a boat, relaxing at the hotel, and gearing up for the pre-season at the Juan Carlos Tennis Academy in Alicante. Following the preseason, the Australian Open is on the horizon, and we anticipate he will be ready, after basking in the sun and relishing his time at One&Only Palmilla in collaboration with LUX Tennis.
